Maternity photos are a once in a lifetime, unique opportunity. Yes, you can have multiple pregnancies in your life, but every pregnancy is different and special. You will look and feel different with each one. You are living a unique experience, and growing a tiny little human inside of you for 9 months. This session is all about the mom to be and her beautiful belly, having images of this moment to share and having a story to tell your children when they are older. ~ All family members are encouraged to participate

When should you have maternity photos done?

For most women, the ideal time to have photos done is around 7-8 months.



Newborn Studio Sessions

What is a Studio session vs Lifestyle?

Studio sessions includes more traditional posing, wraps, props and specific lighting. The environment is more controlled in order help keep baby comfortable and get them posed. The equipment used is not portable which is why clients come to my studio location in James Creek, PA for their session.

Studio sessions are a perfect choice if you want the focus to be more on baby.

When should you have newborn photos done?

Ideally, the best time to photograph newborns and get the best images is before they are 3 weeks old. This is your best chance to get the sleepy, posed shots. Baby is more likely to stay in a deep sleep and is more flexible allowing me to work with their little bodies to achieve those adorable poses.

In-Home "Lifestyle" Newborn Sessions

If you want more family interaction and less posing, a "lifestyle" session is for you!

Time is not as urgent for an In-home lifestyle session as the focus is mainly on the interaction between baby and their new family, surroundings, and much less centered around posing. They are much more relaxed, less prep and planning, and less posed. When I photograph a newborn session in your home,, I focus on the relationship between the parents, siblings and pets. I incorporate parts of your home including the nursery, master bedroom, and any room that may fit into your day to day routine.
